Move out a little farther and do a second layer. Starting near the center, draw a curving line inside each “v” shape. Don’t worry about making them perfectly straight, spiderwebs are always moving in the breeze. Start by drawing a plus sign, then draw two more intersecting diagonal lines. You can also do your doodling on the iPad with an Apple pencil and the Procreate app like I did. These are all based on simple shapes, and all you need is a pencil, an eraser, and whatever you’d like to use to color them in! I recommend starting with pencil to sketch, then tracing with a black marker and using crayons, colored pencils, or marker to finish. However, in case you want to add a festive touch to your Halloween cards and treats, here are a few not-so-scary doodles you can draw. In fact, I dislike anything that’s scary or gross, and there’s a lot of that to be seen this time of year. I confess, Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday.
